Painting Terms & Conditions

Shiny Shutters Painting Co. (SSP)/The Master’s Touch Painting & Drywalling, Inc. (MTP) hereby agrees to:

• Paint your items with your choice of specified paint brand, product, color and choice of shine, and number of paint coats based on the work order from the on-line form.
• Price will include all materials, labor and liability insurance.
• Repairs must be pre-paid or will not be performed; ie: loose shutters with broken screws are $3 each.
• Wood trim will be given a final price upon arrival -- many door casings are neglected and major effort is needed to get them paint ready. Accurate prices cannot be given until these items are seen.
• This price is valid for 90 days.
• All work will be performed as soon as possible, based upon schedule and weather constraints.

You agree to:

• If you want your shutters washed, you are responsible to hose-off or rinse shutters- to ensure they are dry on day of painting. However, I will of course wipe & dust brush shutters otherwise.
• You are responsible to trim shrubbery back from shutters.
• You are advised that two coats is the proper way to paint. Doing one coat will give less than best results. A second visit to do a second coat at your subsequent request will be the full one coat price per shutter.
• You agree to pay for the work in two payments -- a deposit of 10% and final payment of 90% of the total price.
• Please have your front porch power outlet turned on to run fans, to speed the drying time for a second coat.

Additional notes:

ACCESS: from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM -- to enable MTP to finish your work quickly.

TRASH DISPOSAL: of job-related debris at the job site is allowed. Paint cans will be dry and left as solid waste for your trash.

CLEAN-UP OF EQUIPMENT: to be performed on job site in discreet location outside with hose. Paint chips are strained out and all residue is washed away, thoroughly flushed, so no damage to grass.

YARD SIGN: is permitted for three days before the job until three days after completion. Please leave the sign on your front porch if it is removed, not inaccessible inside your garage; thanks!

PAINT: All paint is one coat or two coats as you select. Color changes will incur a repeat of fees- should you not like your selected color, for example.
